With decades immersed in the realm of music, Todd McLaughlin has come to rely on one unwavering compass: his ears. Often, the most fitting solution isn’t found in overthinking, but rather in embracing simplicity and appropriateness.

Todd’s journey began with a childhood dream of filmmaking, which led him to create his own projects well into his late teens. These early endeavors instilled in him the critical skills and vocabulary that would later prove indispensable in his composing career.

Formal education at the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles crowned Todd with the honor of Top Student/Recording Artist. From there, his path led him through solo performances spanning numerous countries, before branching into collaborations with bands and artists, where he delved into co-writing and producing.

Ultimately, Todd found his way back to his first love: film. Merging his musical career with cinematic storytelling, he trusts his ear to not only enrich but elevate the visions of fellow artists, breathing life into their creations through the power of music.
